Experience: 10 years professional orchestral experience, including principal bass of the Wichita Symphony and section bass with Rochester Philharmonic, Buffalo Philharmonic, and Indianapolis Symphony, among others. Also extensive free-lance jazz and many rock CD projects. Currently professor of Bass at the Wichita State University School of Music.

Influences: The great string players of the classical tradition. Also Dave Holland, Gary Peacock, Charlie Haden, Jaco, and Tony Levin. Teachers include: Lawrence Hurst (Indiana University, DM), James VanDemark (The Eastman School of Music, MM), James Clute (University of Minnesota, BM).
