: Anyone played one of these new Cremonas $700 approx.?? Please provide
: any info as to where intruments are produced, how they play, etc. I'm gonna buy something soon but need some sound advise

Maybe I shouldn't say anything because I haven't even actually seen a Cremona bass in the flesh. But I've been reading a lot of different postings on this page and elsewhere that are talking about Cremona (and other basses from China) basses cracking and splitting with changes in the weather.

Just thought I ought to warn you.

From all reports, they sound OK....playability probably depends more on how well they are set-up and adjusted than anything. Maybe it's just a matter of learning what you need to do climate-control-wise to keep a Cremona in one piece.

My suggestion would be to try to learn a little more about what's out there...maybe get on the 2xbasslist (you can do that by first going to www.gollihur.com)...and explore some other options.

Good Luck and Happy Hunting!
