I was recently asked what I thought the best way to prepare a new or newly
rehaired bow for use was.I use 'Pops" rosin,it works fine .The key is getting
the hair to take the rosin to begin with.If you take your rosin[This is where I really like pops]and set the whole container in boiling water for about 15 seconds,it will soften enough to get agood base cote between the hair so the usable rosin will stickwhen applied which if done properly will alow you to take 1-2 passes with your rosin and have pleanty to go around.
