Never heard of Triompho, But since Bob Gollihur hails from the Jersey shore, Maybe he knows. A neck repair is more common than you might imagine, you'd be surprised how easy it is for some drunk to knock your baby over in a crowded club scene. Anyway, You can tell if it's a good repair by looking closely at the seams where the neck meets the body. Is it clean? Can you see any visible cracks or excess glue? Do you know the difference between hide glue and elmer's glue-all or carpenter glue? If you do, any sign of elmers is a bad indicator of an inexperienced luthier.
