I was told that the bass bar on my old Kay is seperating from the top. Was also told that the only way to reglue it is to have a repair person take off the top, which would probably splinter the plywood. Then I was told by someone else that someone invented a special clamp, whereas the top would not have to be removed. Hide glue would be delivered via a tube. It was invented to fix school basses and save money and time.
Does anyone know about this method?
Where could I either buy this clamp, or find a repairshop that uses this method?
