: I used Nymans rosin for a long time, and did like it, but found that iy sometimes didnt stay on the bow-hair for as long as I wanted. I recently bought a cake of Kolstein from lemur music, (www.lemurmusic.com), and I quite like it. I'm still looking for the rosin that's just right.

( The best rosin I"v found is Shermans Bass Rosin made by Dodson's MFG. Company in Escondido, California... It is the greatest, a nice wide cake in a wooden cradle. Goes on easy and really barks. Dave )
