I currently have an old Kay with a K&K Bass Max. It sounds great through my GK 400RB head and 4x10 cab (the rig from my electric days). But I need to slim down. I'm pretty sold on getting a 10" cab, but don't know how any of these hi-fi's perform (acme, EA, raezor's, bag). I know a lot of this is subjective, but maybe someone could share their knowledge of how their output (let's say at 8 ohms) compares with others, or their warmth. I "hear" that the acme sounds great, but you really need to put in the wattage to get its best. Unfortunately, money dictates that i do this piecemeal, so first i have to live with a GK400RB head and some 10" for a while before getting bigger (hopefully the up & coming 600w AI head). My dream rig is that 600w AI Clarus head and two 10" cabs. But which 10" is going to allow this slow expansion to be painless? (i.e. allow me to be heard).
