: Does anone have anny suggestions for tuners for the double bass (not using a line)? Thanks.

I picked up one of the relatively new Korg CA-30 tuners in December and am very impressed with it. It kicks the heck out of my six year old Korg handheld in response and locking on to a note. Works well acoustically with my double basses and I've even used it to accurately intonate a bass guitar. It's impossibly small and thin (they should make them in neon orange so I don't lose it!) and even act as a pitch pipe- a tiny speaker can give you a pitch. See other features at their web site, below. And they're under $20.
