: Anybody have any experience with the Carbow carbon fiber bass bows? How do they handle? How is the balance? How do you like the sound they draw out of the bass?

i play my carbow now for two years. very good sound and handling, really the best bassbow i ever used.
iīve sold my pfretschner....
but the carbow has a little problem when changing the hairs: after a week, the new hairs camed out of the frog. i went to the luthier who did the job - he did it for my other bows for many years perfectly - and he told me that the inner profile of the frog was not in the right order. he fixed it in 2 minutes, everything is allright now.
i donīt know if this is a carbow problem or if it was a special problem with my bow. they have two different types now, Garry Carr or Jean Grunberger model, my one is a Grunberger.
sorry for my bad english, hope you understand what i explained
