Hey! I am thinking of learning to play in the Vienese tuning also.
Apart from the books of Brun, Planyavsky etc. are there any other interesting books?
Is there any method written for it?
Any recordings played exclusively in this tuning?
And what do you do with the low F if you have a 4-string (so E, A, D, g becomes A, D, Fis, a).
Does this means that pieces written for Vienese tuning (f.e. Troutquintet or the solos in Haydn's symphonies) are only playable on a 5-string (F, A, D, Fis, a) in this tuning?

If any of these questions can be answered...thanks!
