: : : Does anyone know the correct spelling of "Gaskin Brohond"? He was the principle bass player in the Detroit Symphony in the '20 and '30s. Its for an article I am writing

: : Hmm...I cannot answer your question, but "principle bass player" would look better in your article if spelled correctly as "principal bass player"...just my $0.02, don't take this personally :-)

: : Take care,

: What a schmuck you are, Josh!! Why did you find it necessary to make such an a**hole reply. How can you tell someone not to take your spelling correction personally??????? Grow up.

I TOTALLY (there I am again using capital letters in the wrong place - go on correct me on that ! ) agree with whoever it was who put in the reply that I am follwing up to !
The original question was on the spelling of a name (sorry but I haven't got a clue to the answer ) but why the hell do people like Josh have to correct everybody on miniscule slip ups on their spelling ? I have said this before but I'll say it again - I thought that this MB was so that we could help each other with advice , tips ,knowledge etc etc - NOT so that some sad fool who has nothing better to do with his time than scan the web for spelling mistakes can correct others who are seeking information !!!
Do yourself a favour Josh - get a life or grow up ! By the way feel free to be offended by anything that I have said !
Andy .
