::Eastman makes fully carved basses (model 200, 305, etc.) They've gotten great reviews and are esteemed by bass players and dealers. Seasoned tonewoods, fully hand-made. Very low prices for the quality. Christopher basses are laminated or mostly laminated (carved tops available.) Very well made, good sound for laminated instruments. I have much experience with all of these as dealer, player, and now VP of Eastman Strings. Good luck with your choice!
