You might recall me asking for opinions regarding some electric upright basses, such as the Messenger, Emminence, and Yamaha Silent Bass. Another bass has just crossed my mind and I am giving it a serious look.
I'm looking at the Moses Graphite KP4 Electric Upright Bass. This bass comes with something called an Air Coupled Sensor (ACS) System. I'm not exactly sure what that implies, but from what they explained on their website, it sounds pretty good. There's also an optional Lace Sensor magnetic pickup that you can get with the bass. There is a volume and tone control, plus an extra control for the magnetic pickup if you get it. The bass is made of mostly graphite, with an ebonwood/diamondwood fingerboard, with a few hints of wood near the bottom of the body. I could be wrong about the specs, so correct me if I'm wrong.
Does anybody own this bass? Has anybody tried it? How much do they cost? What are the positives/negatives of this bass? How is its arco and pizz sounds? I'm looking for comments and opinions on the Moses KP4. If you have any, please post them! Thanks!
