Whatever Larry. Francois was just trying to explain some reasons why you might not have gotten any offers at that price. I've sold several sets of used strings and I KNOW FOR A FACT that strings that are not solid core strings have some degradation after being taken on and off, whether or not you've gigged on them or not. Hey, it's a free country, but you should be aware of those problems, and so should people who might buy them. My first clue came when buying a barely used set of Velvet 360's and having them sound like Velvet's that were nearly a year old. Since then the string manufacturer and my luthier have told me the same thing. I also experienced this with Obligatos, which according to Thomastic are very similar in construction to Dominants. I don't call that delusional, but then again I'm not getting much sleep these days from a day job and all the gigs I play. If you want to get in a pissing contest, I'll put last years income taxes up against yours.

Best of luck.

Monte
