Are you talking of the LaBella 7710 black-nylon on steel rope-core strings?
They're still available.
Innovation are also making a black-nylon over synthetic core string called Rockabilly.
(both the 7710 and Rockabilly strings are available from Quinn Violins.

Recently the Presto strings have been reissued.
They're called Eurosonics, and are available from Upton Bass.
