: There is some buzzing on my bass and I think if I raise the action then that will solve the problem. My question is...how do I do that? I know it has to do with the distance between the string and the fretboard. So can anyone help me? Thanks
Before adjusting your neck, if you have an adjustable bridge, you can raise the action from there. Take each of the little screws in the saddles, and turn each clockwise one full turn. Then go by half turns until the buzzes stop or it becomes uncomfortable to play. (usually you have to use an allen key)
