HI
I've recently made the switch from 6(ish) strings to 4(ish), to fill in a gap in a very tidy sonding rock outfit. I have enjoyed the change greatly.
I've got myself a nice Laney rig, but there is one small problem - the box (4/10+tweeter) is just plain heavy.
I'm not to sure about how much these speakers would vary the sound but I've been considering trading in on a more user friendly cabinet.
The amp is a Laney DBH 400, also quite heavy, but I think i'm happy with the sound i'm getting.
I might make a trolley to ease the load or find some bloody huge friends to help
but any views of suggestions welcome

Also any do-it-yourself tips on sericing basses would be nice
Cheers
