Check out his website for the lessons he gives, (victorwooten.com.) It's pretty straightforward, you just gotta be able to do it as fast as him. He slaps an open string, hammers-on with his left hand, then plucks back. It's really easy to make a lot of quick runs in open string keys or even just relatives like fourths or minor 7ths for a funkier feel. Once you get this down, you see the countless variations. Pluck, then slap and hammer; slap, hamnmer, pluck, slap. It gets ridiculous. Like I said check his site, he's got two lessons on just this idea.
Best of luck,
Rick
