: Does anyone out there have one of these basses? I heard one in a live setting and it sounds great. I looked into it anf Fender has some available through dealerships for around $1200. I didn't get to play it and the neck looks like a baseball bat on the fat end. I am wondering how playing it for 4 hours will feel. The big attraction for me is the tone. This is a passive circuit and the tone at certain sounds active. In series, it sounds as close to a '66 jazz bass as anything I have heard. Opinions? Or better yet does anyone have one for sale? Thanks.

Ponce, they have them over at www.musiciansfriend.com for about $1,250.00 if
memory serves me correctly. Go to 5 string basses, then click on the bottom
where it says: Click here to see Fender products. By the way, I'm very interested in that bass too, but, I just bought another bass, so I must be cool
with the money for a while. Good luck.
