: I Currently have an Eden WT-300 Traveler head (4 ohms) and an old (but kick ass) 8 Ohm Trace 4x10 Cabinet. I have found a 2x10 to go on top of that and it is ALSO 8 ohms. I get very confused on the OHM issue. What kind of problems am I looking at. And Any suggestions on how to get around them.

: Thanks

Hey there. If you are going to be running the cabinets in paraellel(both plugged in to the amps outputs) then the total Ohms for both 8 ohm cabinets would be 4 ohms. Sounds like a perfect match. The problem you run into when using cabinets of different impedences is that in parallel, the cabinet with the lower impedence will hog most of the power. The situation is reversed when used In Series. well....happy jamming.....John
