: : O.K. people, dust off the cobwebs from those brain gears, I need some help. My band is doing Heartbreaker by Led Zep. While I can play the song just fine, I need to know what the effedt is on the bass. It sounds overdriven but is that an old Leslie Rotating speaker? I think it is but need confirmation, and if any company offers an effect pedal that will simulate a rotating speaker. Thanks........John

: John,
: If memory serves, that was a Leslie that JPJ played through, but don't quote me.

: There are quite a few companies that are making Leslie simulators; Dunlop is one, like blisshead mentioned, but there are at least a dozen on the market. Check out the www.guitarplayer.com or www.keyboardmag.com sites for reviews, or try a place like www.harmony-central.com for user reviews.

: Hope that helps!

: -Bob

Thanks....as long as somebody else thinks it's a Leslie....then that's all I need......Thanks for the info Bob, and Blisshead......John
