: Hello friends. I have a Warwick Streamer LX-5 (bolt-on) 5 string bass. Nowadays, im thinking about to change this bass and buy another one.
: What do you think of these basses?
: - Fender jazz bass deluxe 5
: - Musicman Stingray 5

: Which one should i choose? Would be good change?
: I play funky (slap and finger), jazz-fusion, and sometimes some folk music.
: Thank you.

The Jazz is a particular bass with alot of potential. The stingray is an aboslute monster of a bass. What exactly are you looking for? Remember this is just one man's opinion, but I would look at those 2 basses as very different. the Jazz is lighter.....smaller faster neck....sweet tones that could work in many situations. The stingray is a little bigger...heavy...neck is larger. The stingray is punchy ........cuts through...funky and very deep and warm when played toward the neck. Both basses have tones potential.......I think it really depends on what you plan to do with it. Lets not forget that you already have a nice bass. The Warwicks have a great sound...very nice. Good luck.....
