: Hey all,

: I have an intriguing question to ask. I was looking at the posts about the Lightwave Bridges, and I have been considering purchasing a bass with the Lightwave system installed, but I kinda like the sound I get from the conventional Bartolini soapbars.

: Is it possible to get a bass with the normal soapbars AND the Lightwave bridge installed? Or would that sound like shit, clutter up the sound, and/or clutter up the body with knobs and switches?

: I know you can get a piezo bridge along with conventional pickups, but the piezos can also blend easily with the sound of soapbars.

: Anyone have any experience with this? I'm curious to see what that would sound like.

: Zach

I know I've seen them installed w/ other magnetic pickups, but heard tell that they are such a clean, useful signal that it isn't needed.
