: : what frequency range should i be looking for when buying speakers for my cabinet. i play a standard 4-string.

: Hey there,
: I think it depends on which type of speaker cabinet you're after. Anyway, the lowest fundamental of a 4 string is around 41Hz, so search for cabinets that can go as low as that. In the higher end, though, it depends. Most cabinets will cover the upper range of a 4 string fine, but then again the answer depends on your needs. Some cabinets come with tweeters that extend the high response, which may come in handy if you play a lot of chords and/or slap. Bottom line is, what type of cabinet are you after and what are you gonna use it for? If you have a clear picture of this, you'll narrow your choices down to just a couple of options, and it will be easier to decide. Buena suerte and keep your bass up front in the mix,

thanks dude.
