I forgot to mention. Although my main purpose of purchasing an effects unit is for recording purposes, I will be using this unit in a live situation as well after the recordings are finished and I start playing out. Although I love to experiment with computers, and I use them quite heavily in the musical sense, I highly doubt that I will be able to fit a full-out PC into my 12-space rack. I need something a bit more...compact, which is why I'm investigating the rackmount units such as the Alesis Midiverbs, the Line 6 POD Pro, the Eventides, etc. I need, at most, a two-space unit. Thanks for the suggestion anyway! I will definitely do some experimenting if I get the chance!
