hey will, how are you? i've been using an ibanez tr500 expressionist for the last 3 years and i really like mine. it doesn't have the skinny sgr neck (like mickster was talking about) and it's pu/active combination lets you find a ton of different sounds (and it sounds pretty nice direct). only complaints: i've replaced the jack 3 times (crackles), and i'm getting some dead frets on the a-string, but i don't think it's anything a good adjustment won't fix. i picked up this bass for about $400, and it was an absolutely awesome deal. as far as warwicks, i'vce only played one once, but it definitely was "the sound of wood". tons of midrange growl. check out stefan lessard from dmb, he uses warwick and modulus. hope this helped. take care!

: Hey guys...I need some help...I'm thinking of purchasing some basses and I need some input...How good are Ibanez TR500's,Yamaha TRB5 II's and Warwick Corvettes? Any input would be seriously appreciated...By the way... I have a Fender MIJ 75 Reissue Jazz Bass 3 tone sunburst w/ rosewood fretboard w/ pearl inlays and an Ibanez ATK 300 sunburst w/ maple fretboard that I'm selling make me an offer... Every offer will be considered... Thanks... Will...
