: Yo Mickey, I got that bass, it is WELL worth the dough. It needed a fret leveling and serious set up. but, it has an arched top, decent pick-ups, and the looks good factor is a 10. this guick update has been brought to you by the good folks at Datsgor anonymous. peace.
Hey John, that's right, I posted the message here that Sam Ash was selling them for $219.00, then you told me you bought one. Hey, if all it needed was a leveling and set up you still got away with robbery. I hesitated, and lost. They're no longer at the Sam Ash site, and Musiciansfriend which reduced them from $469.00 to $249.00 to compete with Sam Ash now has them back at $469.00. Oh well, as long as someone got a deal. That has got to be the deal of the year.
I still want a 5 string, but, I'm starting to think about an acoustic bass guitar like an Ovation or an Epi El Capitan. I really don't need another bass, but when did that ever stop any of us? Hey man, glad you got one, and that you're enjoying it.
Play that Paul!
