I have the same problem, my singer and guitarist always complain I need to
move around more, and I just tell them, If I am jumping around and not
concentrating on my playing, I am bound to make a mistake. When one of them
hits a wrong note, they usually shut up about it.

As has been pointed out, Bill Wyman of the Stones hardly ever moved on stage,
for that matter neither did John Paul Jones of Led Zeppelin or John Entwistle
of the Who. And those bands did just fine. If fact I just saw the Who in
concert and none of them moved around the stage that much...yet they rocked
harder than any other band I have played in, or with, or seen play live.
