: Criminey Mick, what are you trying to do to me? I went to the site and my finger was trembling over the "buy now" button with that combo. Luckily the wife came in the room right then, or I would be the proud owner of a new Ashdown combo! You gotta stop hunting this stuff down. First the Five string Epiphone, now almost the combo......what next? A killer deal on a Roland VS-890! I DON'T HAVE THE CASH MAN...............please help me help myself. sincerely, a helpless addicted musician with a credit card just BURNIN' that hole. Peace John
John, believe me man, I'm not trying to ruin you, I'm in the same situation: little cash, loads of hobbies/musical needs. Ever since I bought my Jack Casdy bass from Musiciansfriend(with their Credit Card)they've been sending me paper catalogs about every three weeks, plus e-mailing me with all kinds of offers, some I find hard to refuse. In the last catalog I saw the Ashdown, then realized that I had played through it in Sam Ash, then realized that the Sam Ash price was a lot higher. I went to their site and started sweatin' when I saw the difference in price. I was starting to think of selling my Bassman 60, then had to slap myself in the face after realizing: What the hey am I going to do with a third amp, when I'm not even in a band? A cool head prevailed, but I was close to clicking on the "buy now" button too. Your wife deserves a night on the town for saving your life. I almost have the Casady paid off, that's why I'm getting an itchy credit card hand. Is there a twelve step program for music guys like us? I need help, I admit it, I'm starting to see pink P-basees on the walls. Hmmm, maybe I better go visit Mr.Onebeertoomany tonight. Have a good weekend.
