Adding to this, I have a somewhat different bass. Some basses, such as Fenders, have a truss rod in which you adjust it from the headstock end of the bass (just below the nut where the headstock meets the neck and fingerboard). Other basses such as Elrick, Roscoe, or Modulus, have you adjust the truss rod on the other end, right where the fingerboard meets the body of the bass. Do the principles of adjustment remain the same? (clockwise to tighten and counter-clockwise to loosen?) Does the position in which you adjust make a difference?
