O.K. Bob, How about....hang on, let take a sip of wine and get a bite of cheese,....this. I was playing a version of Take the A train the other day and was feeling pretty HIGH, when it occured to me. The second progression in the 9th measure was a little odd, in being that the traditional Harmonic Progression had been reversed, that is......oh, hold on, I think i gotta go check the lobster......o.k., in the previous progression it went I, vi, V, back to I. Then, in the progression I am refering too, It goes, I, V, Then back to iii. now correct me if I am wrong, but does'nt this defy a traditional harmonic progression of witch Take the A train is certainly an excellent example?
