: : I just bought an 800 rb and have a question about the crossover feature.
: : Ive never used a crossover before and was wondering what the hell it does. do I have to use this when running 2 cabinets? Basically I need the low down on how to use this thing. Any advice would be apreciated.
: : Thanks,

: Hey....No, you don't HAVE to use the Bi-Amp feature....but it comes in handy if you have a (for example) 15" cabinet and a 2 x 10 or 4 x 10 cabinet, then you can split the signal so the highs go to the little speakers and the lows go to the big speaker. If you are running, two 4 x 10 cabinets, then, it is not the best thing to use would want to just run it in full mode. The 800Rb is a versatile made a good choice. Read the owners manual and you will get all the info you need...peace....John

Thanks for your reply. I just found this board today. seems like there is a wealth of knowledge in here. I will be checking in from time to time.
Thanks again,
Uncle Sloppy.
