: If you're experienced with bass amps PLEASE help me with your opinions. Replacing a Roland cube bass as I can't get good tones out of it. Thought I wanted tube amp but I'm hearing that emulator effects (Line6 )OR solid state transtube amps (Peavey) sound "good enough" to amateur.
I've been using the Line6 Bass Pod for about a year now, and really like it. I can get any sound I need out of it (actually more than I need), and it sounds great. I use it into a carvin power amp and carvin 2x10 cabinet.
