: Would you use a 210 on stage by itself? I have tried an Eden 210 wedge speaker and loved it .
The whole idea of using the 210 wedge is so that by having it in front of me my volume will be down and as the amp I use is an eden World Tour,800watts, there should be enough headroom to run the speaker so that it won't distort even with my 5 string.I will have to back the bottom end off but by boosting the mids slightly it should sound ok. I love the idea of being able to go to a gig with my Bass in a gig bag over my shoulder, my amp in a rack mount case in one hand and my speaker in the other hand. Imagine ONE trip from the car to the stage! When is the last time you were able to do that? For years I have carted around big rigs and frankly I am over it. If I can get a good sound out of this (and keeping in mind it is a great sound for an Upright) I will be the happiest player alive. What do you guys think - am I dreaming? I would love to hear from anyone who has ever used this system before just to get some feedback. I have an Eden 410 for backup but have you checked out the weight factor? Ouch!!
