I have never heard of your particular bass, but the only thing that should concern you is that the bass feels good to you as far as the action goes, you get the tones you are searching for, and you are happy with your purchase. you don't need the best bass in the world to be the best bass player you can be. Hell, I had a real P.O.S. for years because I couldn't afford a good bass untill I got older and got a REAL job! But, I practiced and practiced and practiced some more on that thing and when I did get the money up, and the skills, I went out and got a bass that I felt suited my needs. And as I progressed from there, I got a better bass. I'm not the kind of guy who owns five or six basses (only cause my wife wouldn't have it. But, that's a story for another day.) I would say that your money is well spent.
Good luck, practice, play well.
