I just replaced the bridge on my '65 Jazz bass with a BadassII. I had to
replace the stock bridge because one of the height adjustment screws had
fallen out and gotten lost (try to find a replacement for that!). Anyway,
the initial installation is really simple, like 5 screws or something like
that. HOWEVER, you'll want to have someone who knows what they're doing
for cutting the saddle slots. The last thing you'll need is to have either
your strings being off center of the polepiecs on your pickups, or to have
a burr on your saddles causing your strings to keep getting sheared off.
As far as price goes, I got the bridge and had the saddles notched for well
under $55, I did the installaton and setup myself.
Best of Luck!
