: Can anyone recomend a wireless system for a 5-string bass? I currently use a pretty inexpensive Samson true diversity VHF rig. Frankly I'm dissapointed with the sound, particularly in the lower notes (i.e. open B on low stinrg sounds really 'farty'). My guitar has active electronics, but I am about to buy a second, passive axe. Don't know if this will impact the type of wireless I should use.

: Does anyone have any success stories about wireless setups? I can't even find on the web what kind of wireless systems the big boys use (U2, Dave Mathews, Radiohead, whatever...)

: I would LOVE any imput you guys can offer.

: Cheers,
: Robin

Robin,

I am partial to Audio-Technica Myself. get a true diversity, UHF system. Should run around $500, and while more than Samson or NADY, Cheaper than that SHURE Stephan Lessard uses!
Hope that helps!
Fowler
