I got a Steingberger 5 and a Kramer Baretta 5 basses from them. They got the most awesome deals. They sometime will have 10 to 25% discounts on their gears to get even better deals.
I really love the Baretta 5 strings, it is incredible. I did change the bridge to a Hipshot Wide and convert it into a string through for a much better tone. But even without those upgrades, the Kramer basses are incredible for the price. Very well built.
However, do not expect good customer service from them. On the Steingerberger order, they sent me the wrong item. And I had to wait almost 3 weeks before they have UPS came to pick up the wrong item and sent me the correct item.
At that time, they did not have a customer service phone # so I can only communicate by Email and they don't always respond. Now they have a phone # so hopefully they are better now.
Hope this helps,
: I was looking around on the net for higher end guitars and basses, seeing what the prices are like. I swore that I'd never post anything like this, cause it looks like marketting spam, but has anyone checked out musicyo.com? From the prices that I see there, they've got is going on.
: What I want to know, has anyone dealt with them? Good or bad? I'd like to get some opinions before I start looking around for ways to get gear from them. Even with the exchange rate, their prices are still cheaper then I can get locally for worse gear. Steingerer versus a Cort at the same price after shipping and exchange? Come on.
: So? any thoughts? And please don't flame, I just wanna know whether they're good or not to deal with.
