: : Of course, we all knew that Danny wasn't *really* playing (couldn't play a note to save his life), but given how much emphasis was put on him on "The Partridge Family", how cool the character was (Keith was a wuss by comparison), and how *visible* the bass was in the band, did Danny Partridge make a difference in anyone's decision to take up bass?

: : Anyone want to admit to it? (not that I'm copping to it, mind you...)

: Skip, are you nuts? Danny partridge was better that James Jamerson, Jaco and Stanley Clarke put together! Why he was so good...

: GOTCHA! HA HA! Seriously, there was no one on T.V. in the 70s that I wanted to push down a flight of stairs more than Danny Partridge. I hated him for two reasons: #1. Because I wanted that Ovation bass he didn't play, and #2. I wanted to get close to Susan Dey! AAAAAHHHH! She was so hot! I couldn't stand that little red-headed S.O.B.! O.K., Ive calmed down now. Everyone forgive me for ranting. I'll be a good boy now.(big grin)

Hey, he got to see Susan Dey *naked* in her dressing room; beliebe me, I can understand #2... ;-)

P.S. How's the new amp with the Casady?
