: Anybody hear have any experience with the Paevey Fury? (4 string)
: I tried one today, and liked it because it seemed to give me a wide control over different tonal settings, ALOT more than the P-bass I am using now. Also, It seemed to be really easy to play, I could move around on it much faster and cleaner than the fender.

: When I play at church, i play into a box and sound very broad and pretty, but on somethings I would like a thinner, lighter sound, and can't seem to get that with a P-bass.
: I am pretty new to Bass, so I would love to have advice if there is any reason to avoid this Bass.
: Also, is $399 a good price for one?

Bought one for my son and he loves it. I thought it was a great deal and was
very nice to play. My son & I play at our church as well.
I bought a new Modulus Quantum 5 for myself though.

Enjoy.
P.S. it does seem to use batteries quickly so have spares if you buy one.
