You're definitely on the right track by considering 4x10s and 2x10s for an extension. The only beef of it is that traditionally, 4x10s and 2x10s have been used for the top part of a setup and the 1x15s are used for the bottom part as a subwoofer. Having the 1x15 on the bottom is probably more beneficial for you because you can feel the bass and power of the 15 on the floor and at your feet, while the 10s project the sound to your ears and to the audience. What you might like to try is getting a 4x10, but mounting it so that it points at you, like a kickback thing. Either that, or mount it on a stand or case or something. That way, you will be able to hear your instrument. Keep the 15 on the floor, so that you will be able to feel your bass. Obviously this setup will be complicated with the combo...it would be much easier if you had a 2x10 combo or something. But the 10s are fun...get yourself hooked up with one if you can.
