You might look at Ashdown, they seem to be getting real good reviews. If money is no object, definately look at Euphonic Audio. Also Carvin, GK, SWR, Eden, all make amps that fit in your description. Your ears are the best way to judge their qualities and weaknesses. I use an SWR Workingman 300 and a Carvin 2-10 cab for smaller rooms and rehearsals. Works fine with my 5 string, but definately won't move as much air as my big rig.
: hi.iam looking for a small ish amp to gig with (200w)or there about its only for pubs and small clubs.. iam just sick of draging my big rig with me to play small clubs (4x10+1x15) (in the same cab)but the problem is most of the amps i have tried just dont sound good enough and tend to distort a bit when i use the 5 string ..am i looking for to much?is there good small amps out there that can handle a low B ..i live in dublin so my choice is not that great..
