: : Ive been playing for about 15 years and I go thru strings about every 45-60 days. Anybody have a recommendation for a brand that will last longer for people like me with "sponge hands?"

: I have used Elixers in the past with good results... 6-8 months between changes. Lately I have started using Thomastik Jazz Flatwounds and they are incredible strings with a much advertised long life. Do you wipe your strings off after you play?

: PAige

I try to, but not always. During performances/services sweat is literally dripping off my fingers, not matter what the temp. Im in Denver, so humidity isn't a factor. Thanks for the recommendation!!
