: “FRETBOARD ALCHEMY for 4, 5, and 6-String BASS”

: A no nonsense comprehensive study of scales, modes, chords, arpeggios, extended fingerings, diagonal fingerings, functional harmony, theory and more. All examples shown in standard notation and fretboard
: diagrams. For instant gratification it is available as a prepaid download, or for a couple more dollars as a CD-ROM. Ever wonder how to play a Phrygian Dominant? It’s there on page 26. How about the 4th mode of the Melodic Minor? Page 17 in all of its glory. Scott Hubbell has stripped away all the fluff associated with scale theory and brought it into the new century with style.

Hi there,
My good friend Hub graciously sent me a copy of his work, so let me tell you, it acomplishes everything the author says ...and then some!
Hub's book is a very valuable addition to every bassist. He thoroughly dissects every scale/chord, offers traditional and new fingerings for every example, and offers valuable advice about using individual notes in every scale/chord context.
Hub's book is realy a great work. Go check it out now!
Buena suerte and keep your basses up front in the mix,

El Pájaro
