Forget Hartke. I know they look appealing with thier "great" features and small price tag. They're nothing but trouble. I had the Hartke 5000 for about 2 years. In which time I had it in the shop twice. The first time they replaced the whole unit. You're gonna laugh at me when you read this, but look into Peavey. I have the I have the t max preamp, CS800S power amp, and the older 4-10 cab. It sounds great. when we're headlining I offer the Peavey up to the opening bassplayer for quick changeover. They usually frown until they actually plug in. The moral of the story is, try some Peavey stuff.
