Don't worry about fret buzz. It doesn't mean that your bass is broken, just press harder on the fret and dont press on the actual metal fret, press on the wooden part. Also try using the other strings aposed 2 the E, these strings usually dont buzz all that much. they sound basically the same but just higher up. The A string is my favourite to use because it almost never buzzes and its not too high up.
