I own an original black beauty 15 and a workingman 12.

The LA series, IMHO, is really cheap stuff. If you want low cost amplification, there are much better buys elsewhere.

And high end technology has passed SWR by - Look at EBS and Bgattinno, etc.

: : Anyone familiar with this combo. Seems to have a good price/features ratio. I'm looking for something that gets louder than my current setup: an SWR Baby Blue II. But I don't have alot of bucks. I've tried running another cabinet off of the Baby Blue amp, but it got really hot and made that "I'm fixing to crash and burn" smell. Should I be looking at (used) separates? Maybe a combo that I can run off the line out of the Baby Blue? (That's why I was looking at the LA-15)Any suggestions as to cheap but good setups would be greatly appreciated.
