: Looking for a high end mid sized speaker cabinet- maybe a 2x10 or 4x10 (although it seems like there's more options then 5 years ago with 12's and combinations), but none of these three brands that I've honed in on are available in my area (Denver). I was wondering if anyone had tried any of these side by side and drawn conclusion about which sounded best. I've already owned SWR, GK, ampeg, and Eden stuff, but i feel like ther has to be something better. I'll be using an EA (Euphonic audio) iamp 350 for an amp. I play upright (including bow) and a Ken Smith 6 string, mostly jazz, with a little funk, salsa, tango, and pop on the side. Let me know what kind of music you play, and which specific cab's you looked at. Or maybe you can suggest another brand i'm unfamiliar with.

I play mainly Jazz, then Rock and Pop. I play MTD 6 string, fretted and fretless, as well as Upright, including bow. I have a Walter Woods Ultra head (1200 Watts) with an EA CXL110 and Epifani 1x10. The EA has a deeper tone and is more powerful, and much better with the upright. I'll bet you'd only need one EA CXL110 for your setup.

Good Luck,

Rob
