: i just got a bass guitar and i use m fingers to play and i have a callouses that hurts really bad when i play what do i do?

Just keep playing. The more you play, the thicker those callouses will get. once they are thick enough, the pain will go away. Of course, don't play so much that you start to bleed all over the place. That would be counter-productive. Let them heal for a while but keep playing. those callouses should build up soon enough.
Hope this helps.
P.S. I play very often and still get blisters from time to time. Just gotta bite em' off and start again.
