Just a tip:
You should never remove all the strings from a bass, or guitar before restringing.
1) It can effect the neck of the instrument once you take all that pressure off of it, and
2) You can use the strings that are already there as a guide as to how to put the new ones on.

: Put them on exacty as they came off, starting with the thickest on top and the thinnest on the bottom.
